Healthcare A/P Auditing Consultant, Nationwide

For 22 years, The Audit Group has proudly dedicated itself to Helping Hospitals Save. We are looking for sharp, analytical minds that can solve complex problems, develop relationships with key clients, and serve as part of a high-energy team that is working with the nations largest healthcare systems.

In this high-profile position you will work on behalf of our client hospitals to identify overpayments to vendors, recover funds and provide consulting solutions to assist our clients. As you interact with all levels of management, you will examine Accounts Payable and Purchasing processes and disbursements, identify systemic “holes” in the client’s processes, and share solutions that will help our clients best manage their resources in the increasingly turbulent healthcare environment.

 
Responsibilities:
  • Identify and recover errant spend.

  • Provide guidance on industry best practices.

  • Oversee the project plan through the complete life-cycle including planning, execution, implementation, and close.

  • Ensure project team, internal management, and external customers are provided with appropriate, timely, and accurate project information and status updates.

  • Collaborate with VP Field Operations to monitor project activities and track progress against plan metrics to ensure committed deliverables are met. Identify additional opportunities to Help Hospitals Save.

  • Contribute to multiple projects through daily/weekly/monthly team huddles.

 

Requirements:
  • Willing to travel 90% of time

  • Outstanding client relations and interpersonal skills

  • Performance driven individual with a proven ability to meet and exceed expectations

  • Detailed functional knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Excellent problem solving skills, logic and numerical reasoning skills

  • Solid verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven ability to work independently and on teams

  • Excellent self-discipline and leadership ability

  • A proven history of personal success

  • Baccalaureate Degree with strong academic record

     

 

 
Training, Development and Advancement

The key to success is knowledge. At The Audit Group, we have a deep commitment to our competency-based training program. Our goal is to build upon your already considerable skill set to help you develop the knowledge and competencies necessary to become a wildly successful Lead Auditor.

Depending on your education, initial skill set, work experience and speed of learning, you will master our competency-based training program within six to nine months.
